How to Install

Before you start

Installation is plug-and-play and doesn't require cutting, splicing, or any permanent modification. Most installs take under an hour with basic hand tools. Before you begin, fully power down and make sure the ignition is off.

Installation steps

  1. Locate your vehicle's factory exhaust valve actuator and its wiring connector.
  2. Disconnect the factory connector.
  3. Connect the VALVD harness in-line between the factory connector and the actuator.
  4. once connected, power and turn the ignition on.
  5. Test the controller by opening and closing the valves on command.

A few notes

  • Take your time unplugging the connector plugs as they can be difficult to get off and you don't want to damage them.
  • If anything doesn't seem right, don't force it — a loose install is the most common install issue.
  • Not confident doing it yourself? Any auto electrician or performance workshop can fit it quickly.
